Seeing the documentary Rivers and Tides: Andy Goldsworthy Working With Time two nights ago has deepened my long held appreciation of Goldsworthy's work beyond measure.

I, too, have long been in love with Goldsworthy's art and life. It is as though he has taken the fascination I (we all) once had with the way mud cracks as it dries on our dirty little feet, and made a career of exploring this. even his "museum" work is delightfully natural. And the movie is good too!
Goldsworthy is not only an artist, he's a sage. He knows the way through the eye of the needle. If only I could follow him. How wondrous that would be. I shall try in my own small way.
