Forbidden Images

"This short was made for the 72 Hour Film Festival in Frederick, Maryland.

All of the clips used in this film came from a reel of 35mm nitrate, found in an old theater somewhere in Pennsylvania.

This reel is now in the hands of the Library of Congress."

I think this clip may have activated a latent foot fetish! ;)

Holy either frolic! Watching this was fun like getting it over on a honey bee, flower map boogie.

wonderfully put together... i love the topic and indulge myself in the purchase of previously "outlawed" versions of old movies... and excellent collection of these movies can be found on the turner classic movie site,, they are called the forbidden collections......

Not having cable, the only channel I miss is TCM. Thanks for the tip! There's a short from the 30s I'd like to get my hands on called Men of Steel. maybe you've seen it? It's about some factory workers who organize to put on a musical about Homey Foamy washing machines? It's steeped in communist propaganda. Loved it and would love a copy of my own but can't find one anywhere.
